Here, no reported Illinois decision construes section 3-800(e), and none addresses how sections 3-606 and 3-208 apply when an involuntary-admission petition is voluntarily dismissed and immediately refiled during the same hospitalization. Resolution of those questions would therefore provide guidance to the State and circuit courts in administering the Code.
